Khaolak Emerald Beach Resort and Spa

A very beautiful, clean, and well-maintained hotel. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The beach was just a few minutes’ walk away, and shops and cafes were also nearby. Perfect for a relaxing holiday!

I will like to share my personal opinion based on 14's days spent in this hotel. We had a room in Lagoon 7 at the second floor witch was great for us ( not to noisy from the main hallway) . The room needs serious improvement. ( old furniture, bathroom, not a 4 star hotel room) The position is very good 2 min. to the beach, 2 min. to the boufe. The view is a dream, with never seen vegetation and animals. And if you choose the hotel with breakfast as we did you will not be disappointed. Everything was close enough as described on the website we purchased our vacation from..until you hit the language barrier. Hard to find someone to speak more than 15 words in English and this is at the reception. They have their own restaurant on the beach were how you guessed nobody speak English and is pretty annoying using the phone to translate all the time. Be aware that even if they smile they get frustrated very quickly and sometimes are very rude. ( even if they talk thai you can feel the tension). Also the hotel manager was very rude when they messed up transportation schedules. (extremely RUDE with gesture and words). Btw do not rely on the wifi it really sucks. And if you attend to a fire show do not sit in the front seats ( you will get your clothes ruined). Have fun and don't let anything to ruin your hardly paid vacation!

Time to close for a complete refresher! The hole resort was build 20yrs ago after the tsunami, since then nothing was made new. It’s clean, but damages everywhere, in the room at the pool etc. Wi-Fi is a complete Desaster, take a local SIM card a you are fine. First day first evening no hot water in the bathroom cause of problems in the hole resort. Good for Russians (min 60-80%) but not for European Guests.
