Stayed about a week at the beginning of July and really enjoyed this small and quiet hotel. The suite's rooms were casual and comfortable as well as being very clean when I arrived. I experienced zero issues checking in or any issues with my week long reservation. The staff did not speak English but that's ok because I don't speak Thai and Google Translate managed just fine. No bugs in my rooms which I credit to the gecko that was hanging out on the wall - I named him Baxter. The mattress was very very firm but I slept extremely well on it. Wifi worked great the whole time. The balcony area did overlook an area overgrown and not maintained but was also host to bees, butterflies, various birds and other wildlife which I enjoyed watching and listening to. The surrounding area is quiet and I enjoyed walking around every morning past the different homes and small farms, the people were all very friendly. There is some maintenance that needed to be done but nothing that interfered with my stay and I pointed out things like a leaky pipe to the staff before I left. My only complaint was that I would have loved a coffee maker in my room or real coffee served at breakfast. Instant coffee is just not my thing and Thai coffee is something I would have enjoyed in the morning very much. Overall, it's a lovely hotel. Quaint, quiet, comfortable, easy enough to catch a lift into the city and very relaxing. This is not a luxury hotel but very much was my home away from home during the week I was there. I would gladly stay again.
Very quaint but disorganized place. They confused reservations, check out dates, bookings etc. but it’s Isan, so expect it. Service sucks and breakfast is soup, 3 cold eggs and mystery sausage. The litter cats are relentless and annoying. But no rats anyhow. The “cafe” part doesn’t exist. AC was strong. The beds weee made of concrete, no kidding. Not great value but our trip through Isan finds ALL hotel prices up considerably.
My needs for a hotel room are not significant. All I want is a clean bed and quality shower. While the bed was clean, the general state of the place was not clean. The AC worked fine, but the Wi-Fi was dysfunctional, almost to the point of being useless. On the second day, I inquired because the Wi-Fi was now completely dysfunctional. I asked them to reboot the router and simply got blank stares. I found another younger man and spoke to him about it, and he handed me a Wi-Fi extender, which once I plugged it in the Wi-Fi was excellent. The towels were rags. After mentioning it after our first night, the tell us were replaced with brand new shower towels. The hand towels left something to be desired. We did stop to have breakfast once and they were out of basically everything. Did not bother checking out the breakfast again.
