Wow. Where do I even start? I knew this place was going to be special the moment I saw the listing, but nothing could’ve prepared me for the wonderful magic of this little forest escape in Blaeberry, B.C. We stayed in the Pink Floyd VW bus (yes, an actual retro van you sleep in! dream unlocked!), and it was somehow both cozy and roomy enough to pretend we were living our best 1970s road trip life. The views? Insane. You're staring down a mountain skyline like Mother Nature personally curated your wallpaper. The property itself is a mashup of summer camp, art installation, and wilderness therapy. There’s a fire pit surrounded by colorful chairs, an open-air kitchen with everything you need (including three types of BBQs, because why not?), and the most iconic “Inconvenience Store” I’ve ever seen. There’s even a flushable toilet in the woods (game changer!) and a hot/cold outdoor shower that made me feel like I was starring in a slow-motion shampoo commercial under the trees. At the heart of it all is the cauldron fire pit where guests naturally gather to share stories, laughter, and the kind of conversations that usually only happen under the stars. It’s a place where strangers become friends and time slows down just enough to notice what matters. The host, Jeremiah, is laid-back in the best possible way. Like the kind of guy who drinks coffee from a metal mug and has seen a bear but didn’t feel like mentioning it. Super chill, super helpful, and living his best forest life. Jeremiah is incredible at what he does. He's welcoming and passionate about the unique space he's created. And then there’s the wolves. Yup. A wolf sanctuary is right next door. Hearing them howl at night and again in the morning was equal parts haunting, beautiful. If you want room service and luxury accommodations, this isn’t your place. But if you want a one-of-a-kind, back-to-nature place to stay... book this immediately. I’ll be back. Probably in a different bus, just to try them all! **Make sure the sound is on and volume up to listen to the beautiful howling!**
