Kilronan Castle Hotel & Spa

Writing this as I know reviews help when researching accommodation. Genuinely a fantastic hotel - rooms are lovely & have all essentials. Staff are excellent especially breakfast staff and Anne, Breakfast Service Manager- she is so professional , attentive and welcoming, which makes such an impact when on holidays. Had one issue wit a room repair but staff responded immediately. Food great. Thermal spa suite is really nicely designed. Lovely walks around the grounds. Very good value for such a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

This is a gorgeous place! The castle is beautiful, with an interesting history. The grounds are well cared for and SO green! We explored quite a bit and there's a serious of paths in the woods with beautiful views of the lake, and little fairy gardens along the way.The food was good, the service was good, the bed was comfortable. We even went to the bar down in the dungeon and had a fancy drink. It's worth going, if you ever get the chance.

Thank you Gents for introducing yourselves to the Best Man at the recent wedding of Kenneth and Nadine McCoy Location Possibly the most idyllic place one could hope to spend time anywhere in the world. My stay went too quick to fully appreciate the beauty around...next time I'll wander around the place. However, the hotel itself is absolutely the top tier of places to stay. Modern hotels can't compete with the rich heritage and deep culture embedded into this unique place Rooms Traditional decor with a view to a kill from my room on the fourth floor. I went to the Bridal Suite and the view is splendid there also. I'm guessing the view is magnificent no matter which part your staying. All modern bathroom with easy to control shower, did not use the bath this time and a Jacuzzi in the Bridal Suite. There is a walk in wardrobe with plenty room to try on clothes for one or two people. There's a four poster bed in there also. I had a comfortable sleep. The morning after I was asked if the room needed tending to and they respected my privacy. I was given fresh towels and they tended to the room later on.
