Kimpton Armory Hotel Bozeman by IHG

We choose to stay here when we are in the area. The suites are spacious and very comfortable! This last trip our son was unfortunately sick. Josie at the front desk went above and beyond for our family. She sent a microwave up with a bag full of get well items! That's service at its best! Thank you for the wonderful stay! Josie your the sweetest and thank you for your kindness!!!

I have been here several times but this was a bad experience. The staff is super friendly but I never could get all my room issues fixed . I walked. In and noticed the door knob to the closet was loose and needed to be fixed . The knob on door wouldn’t turn . A engineer came and fixed it . The bath tub wouldn’t hold water and it was fixed for a day only to be not working the next day . The next issue was the AC which wouldn’t cool room properly . That was never fixed . I also had 2 lights in room that flickered constantly . One was fixed the other needed new parts which would be in after I left . . I. noticed several bad reviews on this hotel since I was here last . This isn’t a 5 star hotel , not even close .

This hotel is REALLY LOUD. If you want quiet don’t stay here. 1. No one answers the phone - room service and front desk - or anyone when you use the hotel phone 2. I am on the eighth floor and above me is constant noise - music/banging/moving furniture. I called to see if it could be quieter by using my cell to call the front desk and nothing changed. Haven’t been able to sleep. It’s also really annoying hearing furniture scraping on the ceiling every minute or so. 3. i don’t think they even have a concierge - had to arrange my own pickup to the airport when I called they gave me a number of a taxi company. That’s fine but not the service from a five start hotel 4. They are supposed to have a nice roof deck. I have no idea couldn’t go because of a party (the one keeping me awake). 5. Location is great 6. The rooms/service/lack of availability of amenities (upstairs roof deck) definitely does not make this 5-start quality at all (and I have stayed in many high end 5-start hotels - this hotel is definitely not). More like 3 stars. If you do plan to stay here anyway I would advise you make it clear you do not want to be in a room that will be disturbed by a party. They should reserve the rooms that will have noise disturbance for the people attending the party. On my second call I was told they could make the noise as the party rented the area and there was nothing they could do but send up ear plugs and I could speak to a manager about it in the morning when they came to work (I didn’t ask they offered. But it shows no one is there to supervise while a very loud party is going on). It took three calls total and the noise did not quiet down until 11:30 PM. I waited an hour in one of their restaurants the next day for dinner. I went to this one because the other was closed and again room service was not answering the phone. Again a large group - when I got there only a few people were there - took over the entire restaurant. Walk ins waited an hour and still no food meanwhile the group all arrived after us and were fed happily. Don’t recommend this hotel AT ALL. Five stars is totally not even close. Air bnb is the way to go.
