I spent the night here before my Glasgow wedding, and it was the perfect start to my big day. This was my second stay, and it was just as great as the first. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel so special I was greeted at the door with a glass of fizz and the nicest welcome from the reception team. I had been upgraded to a beautiful suite which was so nice!!! My sister and I had a lovely dinner that night in the restaurant and food it always great. We then headed to the room we were surprised with wellness packs delivered to our room with led face masks and treats that helped us relax and enjoy some pampering ahead of the wedding. We spent the night enjoying room service and the best cocktails. The next morning, we had breakfast on the terrace in our room…Getting ready in such a gorgeous space made the whole experience feel extra special. When it was time to leave, the team had arranged a white taxi with wedding ribbons a lovely touch that meant so much to me. Every detail and every member of staff helped make the start of my wedding day truly unforgettable. I’m so grateful to the whole team for their care and kindness, and I can’t wait to come back again soon! Thank you all again.
We enjoyed the very short stay we had at this hotel. They have a great location and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large and modern. The breakfast was typical. You can walk to a lot of attractions but the area is not flat so be prepared for some hills!
Only mid way through our stay but so very disappointed. Visited the bar tonight, about 9.45pm for a nightcap - the ‘ambience’ was so unbearable we had to leave - staff were in ‘clean up’ mode and the clattering of dishes cutlery and glasses from them was just unbearable and relentless . Made all the worse by the open plan nature of the bar/restaurant/kitchen. I can’t fathom how being in a bar of a 5* hotel on an evening can be such a dreadful experience, which has ruined our evening. I’ve stayed in the I did speak to hotel reception who basically said tough, that’s the only bar…. So my advice for anyone who wants to head back to their hotel bar to chill on an evening is DO NOT BOOK HERE….
