The Kimpton Cardinal Hotel was the perfect home base for our wedding weekend! Not only is the hotel itself absolutely stunning, but its downtown location made everything so convenient. We were able to walk to breakfast at Young Cardinal the morning of the wedding and walk to our rehearsal dinner at Jeffrey Adams the night before. It made the whole weekend feel so relaxed and seamless! My bridesmaids and I stayed the night before the wedding and had such a fun, memorable night—including bowling in the basement of the hotel (yes, there’s a bowling alley!). The next morning, we got ready in our beautiful suite, which had the most gorgeous light and decor—ideal for hair, makeup, and pre-ceremony photos. I absolutely loved being able to capture those moments in such a stunning setting. After the wedding, my husband and I returned to the room and were blown away by how spotless it was—the staff had cleaned everything so thoroughly after a full day of getting ready chaos! Everyone we encountered was incredibly kind and responsive, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch. If you're planning a wedding weekend—or any special event—in Winston-Salem, I cannot recommend the Kimpton Cardinal enough. Beautiful hotel, amazing location, and truly wonderful service. It was everything we hoped for and more!
Amazing hotel with friendly staff. Lena was the best and helped me with my room upgrade. The friendly atmosphere and the service from staffs were the highlight of my trip. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely recommend.
The hotel was alright, definitely not 4 star worthy. Everyone there was super nice and accommodating. The rooms were alright, and the beds were uncomfortable. I heard noises outside my room all night both nights I stayed. Doors slamming (the doors close very fast on their own), trains going by very close to the hotel, a trash truck came to get trash each morning very early and was extremely loud. That woke me up every morning. Just a very noisy area. This hotel is not in a good place for quiet if that is what you are looking for as I was.
