Our company recently switched to an affiliation with the Kimpton Claret hotel as it is close to our corporate offices in the Denver Tech center. What a fantastic surprise! I arrived for my first day and was greeted by Bellmen and front desk clerks that were friendly and knowledgeable about the property. The hotel is very new and up-to-date with all the recent technology, as well as aesthetic touches. The main level bar and restaurant were beautiful and well appointed. The rooftop bar is a must visit if you are staying at this hotel or even if you are not staying and wanted to find an outstanding place to enjoy views of the mountains and the city while enjoying many options off their menu. The rooms are exceptionally well done with very high level furnishings, and design that you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Their mini bar was one of the best I’ve seen when it comes to drink and snack selections. Very excited that we will be staying here again the next time we are in Denver!
Ana Made Us Feel Like Royalty—Better Than Any 5-Star Stay After a grueling 14-hour drive and weeks of nonstop travel—including stays at five-star hotels and even a literal castle—we didn’t think anything could truly surprise us. And then we were welcomed by Ana at the front desk. From the moment we stepped inside, Ana’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail instantly cut through our exhaustion. She greeted us with such genuine care, immediately recognizing how tired we were and going out of her way to make us feel cared for—not just as guests, but as people. The moment she saw our pup Luca, her face lit up. She showered him with affection and treats, making him feel like the star of the show. And then, sensing how much we needed to unwind, Ana upgraded our room to one with a bathtub so we could rest our bones and truly decompress. That simple act of kindness made all the difference. Ana didn’t just provide a check-in experience—she delivered a moment of real hospitality in a world that often moves too fast. Her empathy, professionalism, and ability to read the room (literally and figuratively) are unmatched. We would come back to this hotel solely because of Ana and her outstanding team. After a month on the road, her service stands head and shoulders above anything we experienced—even at properties with prestigious names and luxury price tags. Ana, thank you for making us feel not just welcome, but at home. You set the gold standard.
The room we stayed in didn’t even have a place to set the shampoo and stuff in the shower. The shampoo and body wash offered by the hotel were ON THE FLOOR cause there’s nowhere to set down your shower things. The power went out in our room at least 4 times, and when we reported a lost item, it took days to get a response (which wasn’t satisfactory). Perhaps the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced by a hotel.
