Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix Cityscape by IHG

I stayed one night at this hotel and greatly enjoyed my stay. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made the experience excellent, but all other aspects of my visit were great too -- the breakfast tacos at the Blue Hound restaurant on the second floor were fantastic. I also really enjoyed the morning coffee and tea service (also on the second floor) that they made available to all guests. It was a quick trip so I didn't have time to check out all the amenities (eg. the pool) but I look forward to returning for another stay. The hotel was also conveniently located by public transit to the airport and lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend!

Very nice hotel in WALKING DISTANCE TO CHASE FIELD! We stayed here to be close to the airport & go to an Arizona Diamondbacks game… it was a 10 min drive to the airport and about a 7 min walk to Chase Field. So nice to not deal with parking at the game or driving afterwards. Rooms were clean and spacious. Recommend!

So look the room was good. The best part of the place was the valley. The pool bar is a nice place, tucked out of the hot Arizona sun. It was cool to be able hang outside even when it was 104 degrees. The service was slow but they were busy and very friendly. The lobby had a distinct smell that was way too strong. It’s located in a perfect downtown location for any event. Overall I’d stay again but go in with the correct expectations.
