Booked a room for our last night in Seattle after our cruise. We got here early in the morning and knowing our room wasn’t ready for check in they accommodated us and our baggage until we could check in. Manny at the front desk was very nice and Gary was helpful with our bags! Very nice staff working here and the accommodations were remarkable! Excellent rooms here too, very comfy, clean and you feel right at home! From 5-6 they hosted a social hour with free snacks and wine which was nice to sit by the fireplace and enjoy! Ms. Glass was very friendly who hosted this and served us wine! The restaurant next door was convenient and they even continued to serve us in the lobby after dinner while we socialized and had a couple drinks. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in town and there is a lot conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel!

Stayed here two nights before a cruise. Quaint hotel walking distance to Pike Market and the waterfront area as well as the monorail station out to the Space Needle. The beds are super comfortable! The Staff is also outstanding. Had an issue regarding the room, and went down to the front desk to request a different room and I was moved to a different room immediately. Onsite restaurant staff was also excellent (I purchased the room rate that included breakfast.) Be aware there are no coffee machines in the rooms, though there is coffee available in the lobby in the mornings. Also, hotel is in an old historic building and the elevator is super loud, you can actually hear it in the room at times

I recently stayed at this hotel from June 25 to June 29, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. As someone who travels frequently for work, staying in hotels is a routine part of my life, but this particular stay was riddled with issues that left me frustrated and disappointed. Check-In Process: The check-in process was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Prior to my arrival, I called the hotel to inform them that I would be delayed leaving Portland due to client meetings, and that a friend would be checking in on my behalf. I was reassured that everything would be handled smoothly and that there would be no issues. However, upon my friend’s arrival, they were denied check-in. I had to make multiple calls and go back and forth with client services to explain the situation. The lack of communication and follow-through was frustrating and left a bad first impression. Maintenance Issues: During our stay, we encountered a couple of maintenance problems that were not promptly addressed. The sink in our room backed up, which was inconvenient, and the refrigerator broke down. It took a significant amount of time before maintenance arrived to fix the issues, which added to the overall dissatisfaction with the stay. When you’re paying for a premium experience, the last thing you want is to deal with such basic room maintenance issues. Parking Charges: We only had a car parked for one night, but inexplicably, we were charged for overnight parking for the entire duration of our stay. This discrepancy in billing was another headache I had to address, which could have easily been avoided with proper attention to detail. Concierge Service: Perhaps the most disheartening aspect of this experience was the service provided by the concierge, Ashley. As someone who travels frequently for work and stays in many hotels across the Midwest and East Coast, I can confidently say that Ashley's level of service was the worst I’ve encountered. She was unhelpful, unprofessional, and made the already frustrating situation even worse. Her attitude and lack of willingness to assist with even the simplest requests left a lasting negative impression on me. Conclusion: Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. From the poor check-in process to the maintenance issues, parking discrepancies, and appalling concierge service, this stay was far from the standard I’ve come to expect from hotels in this price range. I will certainly be seeking other options for future stays and will not be returning to this location.
