Kimpton Kitalay Samui by IHG

We chose this resort to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The view of the sea was absolutely stunning — the best we’ve seen. The water in our private pool was incredibly clean and refreshing, making swimming a real pleasure. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made us feel right at home throughout our stay and all thanks to thunder he take care of us . The restaurants on-site were also a highlight; the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Every detail was perfect, and we can’t wait to come back again!

Rooms, service, location was excellent but one main suggestion for improvement…. Aircon is needed for dining areas. It can get uncomfortably warm during the day …. Breakfast and lunch time is really uncomfortable…. Unless you dine at the pool in swimwear, be prepared to be perspiring nonstop during the day. Super warm. Another suggestion…. It would be good to have an adults pool and a kids pool. This would make the entire experience more luxurious and relaxing especially if holiday makers are there without kids.

The hotel carries the price tag of a five-star resort, but unfortunately feels more like a loud four-star Club Med. While the facilities and rooms are chic, the overall atmosphere is dominated by large groups of Israeli families - the hotel's main source market, I was told by the reception staff. Expect loud voices at all hours, kids running freely without supervision, and a generally chaotic vibe with little regard for others. If you’re looking for peace, privacy, or refined service, this might not be the right fit.
