Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas by IHG

It was my girlfriend's anniversary I decided to get away for the weekend. So we rented a casita which was beautiful. We had the McCormick suite and what I had thought to take some pictures however I had a hot chick in a beautiful room and the last thing on my mind was pictures of the room. 😁 This place is definitely highly recommended for a peaceful getaway especially with lots of shopping and casino right down the street.

We had a truly memorable visit at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, and what made it exceptional was the staff, especially Dwayne and Meagan. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care elevated our entire experience. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond in every way, making us feel not just welcome, but valued. The resort itself has a nostalgic charm, with a classic ambiance that feels both timeless and inviting. While the rooms are a bit dated, the property is undergoing a thoughtful revamp. The exteriors have a quaint, almost villa-like feel, and the grounds are beautifully maintained, with tranquil fountains, green courtyards, and peaceful swimming pools tucked throughout. This is the kind of place that’s defined by its people and thanks to Dwayne and Meagan, we’ll definitely be back to experience what the renovations bring.

I have stayed several times over the last few years. Me and my mom go just to get away from home. We take our dogs with us because I do not believe in putting them in a kennel. They have always been very welcoming to my fur babies. I was so disappointed that we were not notified that they are in a middle of a remodel. Happy for them miserable for us. I asked for a pool side room. We know they have little enclosed patios and in the evening we wanted to look at the pool and hang with the pups so they didn't have to be leashed. We'll our room was given to someone else. We had to downgrade. Yes price wise they took care of us but we were really looking forward to the pool. Then my mom took a shower. The handle just came off. They did come fix right away. They have painted outside but nothing done in the rooms. The grounds were kind of dead. It's Arizona in July I get it but I have never seen it this bad. I am very sad u really liked this property it is easy for us and my pups. And I know the remodel will not go on forever. But this time they disturbed one of my pups who is extremely protective and if he hears things that he isn't aware of he Barks. I have never had him bark on property before but the noise so early and the sensing of others got him worked up. I apologize to other who heard him but it's not normal for him when away from home. I don't know if I will make my way to this property again was expecting so much better. I really was miserable for my birthday getaway.
