Checked in late after a very long travel day and was kindly greeted and helped right away. Everything was clean and bed was very comfortable. Decor is super stylish and well decorated. Quick walk to Pike Place and lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by. There is also a hotel bar and restaurant on site that looked great. Walls do seem a bit thin, so something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to that.
Mixed Experience at a Stylish Hotel I recently stayed at the Kimpton Palladian Hotel and had a very mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, the bed was comfortable, and the decor throughout the hotel was stylish and thoughtfully done. The bathroom in our room was particularly impressive. It was modern, clean, and a highlight of the stay. The morning staff were kind and professional, which we really appreciated. However, the evening front desk staff were unprofessional. One of them was literally biting their nails while we were trying to get help with a reservation issue. There was a clear lack of customer service, and it felt like we were being brushed off rather than assisted. The room itself, while nicely designed, felt a bit dated and had poor sound insulation — we could hear noise from surrounding rooms pretty clearly. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel in a great location, but the quality of service is inconsistent and needs improvement. Parking is not included with your stay.
Decent hotel, but they need to get their act together a bit. Biggest issue: they will charge you $30 / day amenity fee and NOT tell you on check in, and even worse, will not tell you ANYTHING about these so called amenities. I had to find out after my stay that there is a social happy hour and $10 day room credit for a snack or something. Plainly scamming guests by witholding all this and expecting them to pay (which I will be contesting). Also no coffee makers in the rooms and I had to ask multiple times over multiple days to get one brought to my room. Clean solid hotel but they are scamming their guests.
