Where ever we may roam, if there is a Kimpton it's the only place we want to stay. From the historic Kimpton in Dallas to the beautiful courtyard suites in San Antonio. Beautiful rooms, beautiful properties full of charm and I can never say enough about the entire staff. The most friendly, helpful group we've come across. Thank you again for a perfect trip. This time we had the pleasure of introducing our kids and grandkids to the Kimpton and they loved it! We will always return!!
One word... WOW! Well travelled and been in a lot of hotels, both budget and upscale. This hotel impressed my wife and I during a short weekend trip to San Antonio to see family. The hotel is immaculate and very well maintained. Beautiful common areas and bar area. The food is excellent. However the one thing that tops all of that is the service. Rarely does a hotel make you truly feel like a valued guest. From the first interaction with the front desk agent, to the bars, restaurant, and the service staff, everyone we friendly and enjoyable to work with. Special recognition goes to Carl at the front desk and the whole valet team. This place is easy walking distance to a variety of attractions, art shops, and the historical area. I highly recommend this hotel and will visit again when I return.
Great location with plenty around you. The construction was very loud and annoying but the hotel can’t do much about that. I felt the walls were a little thin as I could hear conversation from other rooms around us. The floors were a little weird to me as they were just concrete. Deans had great food, we ordered it to our room and the server that brought our food to our room was insanely nice and easy to talk to. There’s a self service parking area right behind the hotel that we paid $30 a day to park in. There’s free parking just down the road that requires a short walk, or you can use their valet service that I felt was a little overpriced as we were quoted $60 a day. The front staff was very nice and welcoming, plenty of staff members stopped us and chatted with our 3 year old asking how she was and what her plans were for her day just about every day we were there which she’s a toddler so attention always makes her happy and we appreciated their kindness. I loved the shower and the soaps available in the shower smelt great. The beds were very comfortable and smelt great. My daughter loved the pool however, it was a little small and fills up fast.
