Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort by IHG

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine kindness, making me feel instantly at home. Their attentiveness and eagerness to assist with every request truly set this place apart. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained — clean, comfortable, and cozy boutique design. What truly made my experience unforgettable, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Whether it was helping with restaurant recommendations, helping us find the rooftop bar and pool, helping us find our resort chairs at the beach, or simply checking in to ensure I was comfortable, their friendly and professional approach made all the difference. It’s clear they take great pride in their work and genuinely care about their guests’ well-being. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and a memorable stay. I look forward to returning soon! My man and I spent the weekend here with my dog, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Even though my dog is full of energy, they still took the time to greet him with a treat, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is great—just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Getting to the rooms felt a bit like navigating a maze, but the partially outdoor layout and charming courtyards made it feel unique and cozy. The rooftop pool is a highlight, offering stunning views. Overall, the service was top-notch. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests in every way. And, not gonna lie… some of the staff are pretty easy on the eyes too. 🙂

Beautiful location, close to the beach, but the Service was easily the worst part of the visit. The rooms were alright — fine for the price. However, I had left some valuables in the room, and come back to find them no longer there, as the cleaning crew was leaving. I scoured the entire room, and ended up filing a Incident Report. The front desk were very friendly and seemed helpful at the time, but are impossible to get a hold of over the phone. After telling me they would reach out with updates on the issue, not only have I not heard back, but I haven’t even been able to get them on the phone! Additionally, some undisclosed fees were charged days after the trip, without warning. Just a very icky business. I am really disappointed. :(
