We had a wonderful stay at Kin Hotel! The staff went above and beyond to arrange a heartwarming birthday surprise for my partner, complete with a cake that made the occasion truly special. The hotel rooms were clean, neat, and very comfortable. We are so grateful for the thoughtful service and attention to detail. It is a great location as well! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion. We would definitely stay here again! :)
I recently stayed a night here for a work trip, and it was a really great experience. What first struck me was their cool Kingsmen theme and how well it's done in the lobby. It gives the hotel a distinct, stylish feel that I really liked. The location being right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City makes getting around incredibly easy. Seriously, it's perfectly situated. The staff were also super attentive; they were always friendly and quick to help with anything. And the room itself was solid – comfortable and perfectly fine for the price.
Great location and fair price, but several details need improvement I stayed at Kin Hotel Dong Du for a few nights during my trip to Ho Chi Minh City. The absolute highlight is the perfect location in District 1—walking distance from the Opera House, restaurants, bars, and main attractions. The staff was polite and courteous, though not particularly proactive—no local tips, recommendations, or assistance were offered during our stay. However, they did allow us to check out one hour later without any extra fees, which was appreciated. The room was small but nicely furnished, cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. That said, cleanliness was lacking: after shaving, hair trimmings behind the sink remained for days, and crumbs were left on the floor and never cleaned. I also reported a slow-draining shower, but despite being told it would be fixed, nothing was done. The breakfast was another weak point: it’s served at a restaurant downstairs, but the options were very limited, especially in terms of drinks—only black coffee and tea. The breakfast hours are also quite inconvenient, from 6:30 to 9:00 AM, and they stop service strictly at 9:00, with no flexibility. One strange issue: the air conditioning would automatically reduce itself overnight, not maintaining the set temperature. It would only return to normal function around 8:00 AM. Despite these shortcomings, the price makes it a tolerable option. With more attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and service, this hotel could become a much stronger choice. ⸻ ✅ Pros: • Excellent location in District 1 • Comfortable bed and well-furnished room • Fair price • Free late check-out upon request ❌ Cons: • Poor cleaning and unresolved maintenance issues • Unengaged, passive staff • Basic breakfast with limited options and strict hours • Air conditioning reduces automatically at night ⸻ 👉 In short: a convenient and affordable place to stay if you prioritize location over service. With some fine-tuning, this hotel could really improve its guest experience.
