Kinderhotel Stefan

I'm not even sure where to start with commenting on how much we loved our stay at this hotel. We're a family of 4 with two small kids. We had an apartment room that was described as in the old building but it was totally lovely, plenty of room for us and all our stuff, plus the fridge in the room was good for pumping and storing milk. Everything was always clean and was cleaned regularly during our stay. All our meals were included and was very tasty, it was definitely more traditional Austrian cuisine but they always had a vegetarian option (we're vegetarian) and there were always plenty of vegetarian options available. There were so so many great things to do for the kids, and kids really are central in the way this hotel works. They also provide a giant amount of stuff to borrow so you aren't weighed down by things like baby beds, carriers, or even strollers if you're with the car. Child care is also included in the room price, although our kids didn't want to be away from us 🙈 child care staff are lovely and did their best to help our kids have a good time. People in general speak some English but most things are centered around German speaking. It's also very accessible by public transportation from Innsbruck, this was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. And lots of things to do are accessible by bus from the hotel. I'll recommend this hotel to everyone I meet with kids, and hope we can come back another time!

A great destination for a well-balanced and stress-free holiday. The buffet is fantastic and full of variety. The pool and sauna are a highlight. Our kids enjoyed the Kids Club activities. For the adults there are plenty of challenging hikes in the Pitztal region. Also plenty of family excursion sights within 30 minute drive. We would come again!

They gave away by mistake the room we booked since 6 months,a room with 2 separate​d sleep 'areas'. The owner was very solution oriented and tried to find different solutions, he came up with 2 options, stay in the available room with a discounted price or go in another hotel he found for us nearby (30mins by car). We opted for the other hotel. The room was ok, beautiful view but very close to the main street and therefore noisy. In the small balcony there was a neon light switched on till (circa) 2am! We had to close the shutters to dim the light in the room but then there was no fresh air (no a/c or ventilation system) and during the night was a bit too warm. The mattress​ was hard (great for me, a bit too hard for my wife). We didn't use the kinder club, but it looked nice. The swimming pool (Pitz park) was 3min on foot from the hotel and the entrance was included in the all-inclusive offer from the hotel. The parking in front of the hotel was limited and some customer parked the car at the swimming pool's parking lot. Nice private playground on the back of the hotel (2 mins on foot), with trampoline, rope slide, swings, sandbox, slide for small and older kids, a wooden castle and a nice artificial river with wooden dams to play with. Dinner and breakfast were good. The staff was friendly and smiling. We would have stayed longer if we had the room we booked.
