King and Queen Hotel Suites

It’s the location, arty vibe and large rooms which make this a wonderful base for a stay in New Plymouth. Anchoring the art/ dining precinct everything is at your doorstep, and you can charge many of the external eateries back to your room! FYI don’t miss dining at Social Kitchen (a couple of blocks away). And on the doorstep enjoy cocktails at Snug, wine at Itch, pizza & beer at Mrs White, lunch at Public Kitchen in the courtyard and brunch at Monica’s across the road - all are recommended - you won’t leave NP hungry! A minor observation is that’s rooms look a little better on the internet than IRL - but they are very spacious and comfortable. The overall design of the hotel meets the arty vibe and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall very highly recommended , probably other best concept hotel we’ve stayed at in a city of this size anywhere in NZ.

A gem in the heart of New Plymouth. We discovered it last Easter and we just visited again, so good. Great staff and location right in the CBD, very convenient. Rooms are modern industrial style and clean, with good amenities, perfect for business or leasure stays. Book a carpark with your booking, if you're driving. Lots of eateries options and shops around the area, some are a part of the hotel so you can charge to your room. Such a great hotel.

Cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay. Rooms were lovely, small but hacks everything we needed. Loved the location, having the great eateries downstairs was so handy. We loved the e-bikes and access to costal walkway. Most of all the staff were amazing. Especially Esme who was so helpful on check in. Highly recommend
