King George A Luxury Collection Hotel Athens

So glad we chose King George for our 4 days in Athens. We opted for one of the suites that we shared with our 17-year-old son. We usually get separate rooms, but decided we'd try one of the suites instead while we were waiting to board our 8-day cruise. This hotel did not disappoint, and the location was perfect for first-time visitors. Top-notch service, very comfortable rooms, extremely clean, and great staff. Their restaurant for breakfast and dinner was also incredible. Exactly what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. I highly recommend going next door to their sister hotel for drinks or dinner.

We had a fantastic stay at the King George Hotel in Athens! The location is unbeatable—right on Syntagma Square and walking distance to Plaka, the Acropolis, and great shops and restaurants. The staff were truly exceptional—so kind, professional, and always eager to help. They made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for luxury, convenience, and outstanding service in the heart of Athens.

Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at Tudor Hall, led by the talented Chef Nikos Livadias, a true culinary artist with a Michelin star. From the very first bite, every dish spoke of precision, creativity, and exceptional technique. The canapés were the finest I’ve ever experienced—visually stunning and bursting with flavor. The entire menu was a journey through refined cuisine, elevated with finesse and soul. Desserts were equally impressive, beautifully plated and perfectly balanced—a memorable conclusion to a truly remarkable meal. Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Athens. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining at its highest level.
