We’ve stayed at the Kingfisher Creek Cottage numerous times and it’s been consistently great. We’ve always received a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, John and Annie. As far as self catering accommodation goes, it’s perfect for a family or group of friends. Super spacious and is equipped with everything you need. AND the beds are really comfortable. Close proximity to the Kruger if you’re wanting to head into the park. Or Annie can assist with booking one of the many game drives and other activities in the area. We even opted for catered meals down at the main lodge. The food was excellent and the setting perfect. We have 3 young children and the cottage was the perfect spot for them as there is ample space for them to play and just be children enjoying the outdoors. Very relaxed and laid back. We’ve also stayed with friends and had a great time. Highly recommended.
Truly perfect stay, in the middle of nature and surrounded by animals (including dogs, so nice!). Thanks to Annie for her help in organizing the activities, for her availability and for her kindness!
