Kinghood Joyway Hotel

This is a small hotel, but it’s perfectly located in the heart of the old city, just a short walk from both the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the historical sights. What really made my stay memorable was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, and their hospitality truly stood out. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed there , the hotel and staff were great, only issue I had I was moved to another hotel as this was out of order which was disappointing as I booked this for the sea view. I was eventually moved back to the hotel I booked on the last night which was great but did slightly spoilt my holiday. I would however definitely stay again as the staff did do the best they could do.

Budget 2 person room is comfort in its bare necessities, nothing more. The room comes without a closet so no space to put away your clothes, just a couple of hangers. Bathroom is tiny but has everything you need. However, because of the poorly built shower floor you flood the entire bathroom with water when taking a shower. There's also a clear issue with hot water supply. We didn't have any hot water upon arriving. The staff tried to convince us it was only a problem in our room but after meeting some other guests it was clear it wasn't only our room. We were traveling with a group and had 3 rooms which each had the same problem so that was some bad client service management of them. The issue got sorted fairly fast but only after insisting strongly. No ill word about the staff however as they were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal when staying in the Sultanahmet area as you stay in the shadow of the blue mosque and Aya Sofia and the biggest tourist attractions are all within walking distance. Evenings, nights and early mornings are very noisy and rowdy as there's a lot of traffic coming through just in front of the hotel and also in between the rooms there's a lot of noise travelling from one room to another. The breakfast absolutely isn't worth it and was an absolute disappointment.
