The stay we had was a lovely experience. The food we had from their restaurant was amazing. Real home cooked food. There home made tar tar sauce with there fish and chips was one of the best I ever had. I would also recommend there puddings. Breakfast was also cooked fresh. None of this cook it and leave it on a hot plate. You put your order in and it was cooked fresh. We will definitely be returning as there so much to do in the area.
Very warm welcome, from the most hospital staff. Beautiful location, one of the oldest inns in Abergavenny! Short walk from the beautiful castle meadows. Lovely breakfast & bar service. Room was quaint and lovely, great bathroom and shower. Very comfy beds. Great information provided and fast wifi. Lovely stay, thank you!
This place is lovely, it’s in a great location and the staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are really well kept with nice shower pressure and comfy beds. However, be warned before you book as hidden somewhere in the T&C’s this place has a CURFEW and they are not happy if you break it! If you’re planning to be out late late don’t stay here. If you’re planning to have a lovely gentle trip to Abergavenny then absolutely would recommend
