I used to go 2 X per year, for about 11 years. Always stayed there, got to know the 2 brothers that owned it, NICE PEOPLE. I had my 60th birthday party there, about 110 people (I was born in the next town over, Giarre.,) Am 78 and left there when I was nine. Anyway, I don't know who these people are that wrote all the lies about the hotel.I was always treated like family and I treated them the same. I haven't been in a long time and thinking about going for the last time, I have friends and relatives from when I was in elementary school. Neil (Sebastiano) Terranova The Woodlands, Texas

We stayed here with a tour group for about five nights. Compared to our previous accommodation on the western side of Sicily (also a 4-star hotel), it was quite a shock. Not a disaster by any means, but there were noticeable differences. It simply didn’t feel as luxurious as the previous place. The rooms were reasonably clean, but some members of the staff struggled with even basic English—terms like “beef” or “sparkling water” seemed unfamiliar. When ants appeared in our room, making their way in from a flower bed outside the entrance, we were told it must be because we were eating in the room. I’m not sure why we would do that when all our meals were included in the hotel restaurant. We also had several issues with the air conditioning, which at times decided not to cool the air at all—not ideal when it’s 45°C outside. The food in the restaurant was good, and dinners were three courses, but dessert was always watermelon. Unlike our previous hotel, no water was provided free of charge. After dinner, we had to wait for one particular staff member to come around and collect cash for drinks in a basket. Sometimes this took up to 45 minutes. Since he didn’t issue receipts, communication was tricky—his English wasn’t great, and math didn’t seem to be his strong suit either. It often took him quite a while to figure out how much we owed or how much change to give back. Breakfast was buffet-style. The hot drinks were unlabeled and served in identical containers, which was confusing. As for fruit, again—just watermelon. The bread must have been ordered before we even arrived, because each day it got harder and harder. By the last morning, it was completely inedible. We joked that if we threw it against the wall, we might break another window.

I came in this resort for a school trip with classmates, teachers etc. The location is pretty not gonna lie and i thought the hotel would bee pretty and nice too. Turns out i was really wrong. To begin with lunch was terrible: The Pasta that was served was described as "Pasta Con Panna e Prosciutto" i am from Italy and i know how that Pasta is served. The Past was bad-looking and it didn't have basic "panna" it had ACID "panna" and the "prosciutto" didn't even have a taste. After, they served a chicken cutlet with baked potatoes as a side dish. It was actually nice looking at first, but it took a bite to understand it wasn't as good as it looked. The cutlet had no taste at all maybe the baked potatoes were the only good thing but they weren't really good either. The rooms looked nice too! And i was wrong even there! In the bathroom me and my classmates found used tampons and pads! That made us understand that nobody tidied that room in forever, there were stains in the beds and the little couch, the TV didn't work. We did not speak with a manager for the mess and problems because we knew they wouldn't help but others in the hotel did and we noticed they didn't care less. The floor tiles of the small terrace were soaked, every time you took a step on them they "crumbled" and a sort of brown foam with a lot of dirty water came out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, but everyone decides for themselves.
