Kingston Marriott

The hotel is newly renovated and very clean. The parking spots are on the small side and are expensive. My room was more than adequate. Large, clean and comfortable. There was more space than I needed for one evening. My bathroom was large and clean too. Room had wet bar and balcony too. I would stay there again.

The long-waited transformation of this hotel is now complete! We are just competing a 3-day visit to Kingston and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Located within a few short blocks of the best shopping and dining, the location is perfect! The understated elegance of the newly refurbished hotel makes every aspect a total joy. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed with extra large TV (with streaming & cable stations), electrical outlets on either side of the bed with more throughout making charging up electronics a breeze. A coffee station and refrigerator are welcome additions. The lobby features water refilling stations as well as coffee & tea. The pleasant bar & restaurant offers tasty meals, as well Happy Hour snacks & special beverage prices between 2 & 5 pm. All staff that we have encountered have been pleasant and professional. One final note: we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were surprised by beautiful swan towels with silk roses and a bottle of wine. These folks know how to do things right! See you next year on our anniversary!

Booked here cause it was right across the street for a wedding we were going to. Called a week in advance to get early check in due to the timings of the wedding. Told call day of but would be on file. Called day of and were told yup would be ready for noon. Got to the hotel and they had no clue I was checking in early. Staff was nice but I had to down grade my room to get in right away so we could get ready for the wedding. Had to pay the same price. The rooms a/c stopped working by the time we got back to our room at midnight. Was really hot and hard to sleep. Must of just given the place a fresh coat of paint but not bothered to update the bones of the building. The shower design is poor as when you switch from the shower head to the spray arm only way to switch back is to turn the shower off and back on again. Let staff Nino’s about the a/c and wasn’t offered anything for our troubles. If I need to stay at a hotel again I’d look elsewhere. Staff is nice is the only thing going for this place. For the amount of money you’re paying I’d look elsewhere first before booking here.
