Kingtown Hotel Hongkou Shanghai

Very good hotel and nice staff. small hotel but this hotel located in very beautiful area for walk and see some art gallery's.I want thank to receptionist ( sry i don't no his name )-who were wearing the glass and little bit fat and tall boy he helped us lot ,for my mother to take to hospital and so cared for us, next to the hotel there have a little super market , nice father and daughter were working there.so i recommended this good hotel. i am coming back

Decent hotel situated in the Hong Kou area of Shanghai. The hotel itself is clean, staff are friendly and the rooms are well appointed. It is a little way from the main hub of Shanghai however there are buses and a few metro stations in close proximity to help you travel into the main part of the city. It is possible to walk to the Bund from the hotel - it takes around 30 minutes. There are very few western restaurants close by to the hotel - there is however a Starbucks and Costa close by. There is however plenty of local restaurants and the hotel restaurant is good. Closest metro station is Dong Bao Xing Lu (东宝兴路) or Hong Kou Football Stadium (虹口足球场). Taxi are also able to find the hotel if you have a copy of the Chinese address.

Bad wifi! The worst choice on my China travel. Dirty & bad maintained local short time hotel used by hostesses to bring clients to.. Horrible service & no English at reception, terrible smoke smelling worn down rooms with cocroaches. Simply fail. Do not even think about this joke as hotel choice.
