I really loved this place. The room we had on the fifth floor was nice and clean. We really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast too. I definitely recommend! I also like the staffs! The staffs at the front lobby, at the restaurants, the driver who drove us to the offsite private onsen.. everybody was nice! We reserved for the all inclusive with dinner/breakfast and 1 hour hot bath access to a private onsen called Akebi Onsen. It's about 5min drive from the hotel and they have a private shuttle. You just have to choose your time at the time of check-in. I lost my old phone and I only realized 2 days later after I got home and they sent it to me. Only in Japan.
I was honestly a bit scared of staying here because of the recent reviews, but glad I stick with it because our Japanese Room with the river view was amazing. The room was spacious enough for the three of us and wow, the view was amazing. We also got lucky and were facing the uphill area. Was able to see the train moving as well and the bridge nearby. Just amazing view overall. Breakfast was also good. They have plenty of choices for Japanese version and Western was good enough. The bread was really nice. I wasn’t able to use the onsen unfortunately due to some timing issues, but it looked like it was nice since people went there for the onsen. Now back to the room, despite the nice view and spacious living, there were some minus points. The futon was really thin and it kinda hurt our body since its almost like sleeping on the floor. The bathroom was nice. I do like the shower but they didn’t give us bottled body soap, shampoo and conditioner, only sachet, which was surprising… Service was nice though.
A little bit far from the station, 15 minutes walk. The room is clean and has a great view of the river and mountain. The food is better than expected. Private onsen is outside of the building around 5 minutes walk. No wifi in the room. Everything is good until the last day. I reserved the bus to the station, but the hotel staff told me to wait in the wrong place. I saw the bus drive past the hotel and the driver didn't even try to look at the hotel. I have to carry my luggage and walk to the station even though I already "reserved" at the front desk. What is the meaning of reservation? I feel like being betrayed by the hotel after I am not the customer anymore.
