Kirk Suites

These are new apartments build by a Lego heir on his new island. Very well designed. Free laundry. Parking is next door. There is a 30 minute parking outside the door of zleep, which is also the reception for Kirk.

We love staying in their larger rooms. Suites for example. Their smaller rooms are not our favorite.

The first thing is to access travelling by car you can stay in the paid multi-storey car park, which is located just before the hotel entrance just before the bridge. You need to go to the top floor of the Zleep hotel to get your key, as the Kirk suites are done through the hotel rather than being dependent. You have access to the rooftop bar, gym (on the 1st floor, it is small but well equipped), and laundry room (on the 3rd floor) all through the hotel. The suites can be accessed by a connecting corridor where the reception staff will show you. The suite I stayed in was the cheapest one and was well equipped with a full mini kitchen fridge, oven, hob, and dishwasher. It also had a dining room table and chairs for 4 people, a balcony outdoor sitting area for 2, and a double bed. The toilet was separate from the shower room, and there were three mirrors in the suite including a full length one. Nice touches were automatic lighting from under the bed which is handy going to toilet in the night, which turns off after a couple of minutes of no motion; the only thing I would say was three thermometers in the room, and despite what I set to 22c was the temperature I got, but you do have a window and door to open. The surrounding area is charming, and there is a nice restaurant, Enzo and C, on the ground floor next to the hotel entrance. And if you say you are staying in the zleep hotel and show your room card, you get 10% off (a bonus they do take out) Parking nearby costs 138dkk for 24 hours. You can use the Easy Park app or the pay-and-display machine in the corner. Also, Fortex supermarket at the end of the road and ok Petrol station (24 hrs) The town itself is also very nice and worth a walk, as are the nearby parks, including Deer Park.
