Kisiwa on the Beach

What a beautiful beach resort!! Impeccable hospitality, from the moment you exit your car to the moment you leave. They make a point to introduce you to all of the staff who will be assigned to you during your stay when you check in (housekeeping, waiter/waitress, etc.), which was nice. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, with all the necessary amenities (hot water, bathtub, safe, hair dryer). The common spaces are beautifully laid out and comfortable, with ample space to relax throughout the day. The pool is large and available 8am to 6pm, with easy access to the beach just past it. They offer excursions if you'd like to book any, as well as a spa with various treatments. Food was delicious - the staff was well aware of our vegan diet before we arrived, and the chefs went above and beyond to ensure we had plenty of options (dinner each night was a 4-5 course meal). Special shoutout to Lydia, who was our assigned waitress - she took such great care of us, making sure she knew exactly what we could and couldn't eat. She would go back and forth to the kitchen to ask the chef about ingredients and made us feel like her top priority during our stay. They offer a late check out option for $115 - allowing day access to a room until 6pm (when checkout is normally 12pm), if you have a late night flight. We also added an a la carte dinner buffet on our last night after our 'check out' at $25/pp. It's certainly a splurge but it's well worth it for the location, hospitality, and overall experience.

This is the perfect luxury boutique resort. Its location is excellent right on a sandy white beach with clear blue water. The furnishings and décor are absolutely stunning! Everything was so comfortable. Really delicious food and excellent service – the staff always remember your name and they were very accommodating of my vegetarian diet! We loved our stay here so much.

Beautifully located hotel directly on the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. Garden surrounding the bungalows is very well looked after. The breakfast buffet could have a bit more variety. The food in the evening is very good and the bar well sorted. The staff is super friendly and nice. On our daily walk on the beach,, we enjoyed the kite surfers and several nice Cafes. We really enjoy our stay here.
