HIGHLY recommend! It was possibly the nicest room I have ever stayed in - no detail was overlooked. Our private bath was a dream. The food was AMAZING. Come hungry - dinner is about 10 courses, and it was some of the best food we have had in Japan. The business is family owned, and the entire family is lovely. They offered to drive us to our next hotel, and the son told us the history behind a few of the sights we were near and suggested things for us to see. Wonderful wonderful experience!
Lovely inside, onsen leaves you skin really soft. Some of the best food I've eaten anywhere, and plentiful too. Lovely owners, who helped us out with a lift back to town. Highly recommended.
Natural hot spot. Overall experience was not bad, but I had the feeling that it is more like Sento (public bath), than Onsen (natural hot spot). The building itself very old. The bath space is clean, but tiny. I had limited time ( due to the bus schedule), so didn’t the meal ( which is usually delicious in onsen).
