Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort 4 Sterne Superior

Just returned from another marvelous summer vacation in the same hotel, the hotel is situated well near the center of Kitzbuhel. Walking distance from the two main lifts and very close to a public free parking space. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, service is very nice and accommodating, they have a great bar with a balcony one can hang in during day and night. They offer what I think is the best restaurants in town and breakfast is amazing. They are dog friendly. Gluten free friendly.

The concierge we met today was outstanding. I've stayed and visited many 4 and 5 star hotels that just leave you feeling like something was missing. From the second we walked in the door this concierge went out of his way for us. We had had a really stressful morning. We needed some time to take a breath and found this hotel for a day spa. He walked us there but no one was at reception. He did everything he could to follow up for us, checked with the other concierge, checked with reception and more. In the end he got us robes himself. It was a turning point for our whole trip. We are so grateful. It felt like the type of service you would have gotten years ago but is often missing today. The masseuse and relaxation room were amazing but the concierge was the highlight for us and the main reason we would visit again. We said thank you when leaving but it meant a lot. Absolutely loved this hotel, we stayed there for 3 nights and would have stayed longer as the town of Kitzbuhel is so charming. The staff was great, the lobby was huge and had so many comfy lounge chairs/couches to have a drink in the evening alongside complimentary bar snacks which is always a nice touch. We also appreciated the real fireplace and live music every night (first week of January so this could have been for the holidays). The rooms are beautifully designed with great toiletries, chocolates placed on pillows and all of the housekeeping staff we encountered were wonderful. We also appreciated the large gym with beautiful views, 5 min walk to the center of town and the breakfast buffet was amazing. There was also a complimentary shuttle that took us to the train station. Thanks for a great stay!
