Klana Resort Seremban

We got an executive room which is located on the 6th. The room is huge and it had two double beds and you can easily fit 4 people. We have nice view of the Seremban lake gardens and surrounding mountains. From the outside the hotel looks run down as the outside painting was badly faded and certainly needs a new coat. Inside the lobby and surrounding it is well maintained As for hotel food we had the seminar buffet lunch, nothing to shout about and very plain and basic (plain rice, roast chicken, veg, fried sausages,salad and soup)

Klana Resort was once a top destination in Seremban, especially during its peak in the 2000s. I spent my secondary school here in the late 90s to earl 2000, I remember how “luxurious” it was. Unfortunately, it no longer reflects its former glory. While the room rates are reasonable, the overall maintenance of the hotel has significantly declined. The most concerning issue was the pool area, which was poorly maintained. We encountered dead frogs, hazardous holes, and even a soiled diaper left unattended—clear signs of neglect that raise serious hygiene and safety concerns. The rooms were decent in terms of space and comfort. However, I was alarmed to find a sharp metal piece protruding from the carpet near the entrance, which could have caused an injury. To mitigate the risk, I had to cover it with the bed runner. Additionally, only two towels were provided per room, with an extra charge of RM20 per additional towel, which felt unnecessary for a hotel of this standard. Overall, Klana Resort has great potential if proper upkeep and attention to guest experience are prioritized. A focus on cleanliness, safety, and customer service would help restore the resort to its former reputation. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as this once-iconic hotel deserves better.

Very disappointing. Kids' pool was green and dirty, adult pool looked just as bad — clearly not cleaned regularly. The whole hotel feels old and spooky, especially the abandoned rooms near the pool. No towel staff in sight, and the towels we got were torn and worn-out. Toilets had no hooks to hang clothes. Only good thing? The bedsheet smelled nice. That’s it. Not coming back unless major improvements are made.
