Klapa Resort

Nice hotel, good facilities with pool and gym. Very quiet chilled vibes. Breakfast great, enough vegetarian options. Location a bit away from the busy areas of Uluwatu so if you want to go out for food / drinks it's a taxi. Dreamland beach is a little run down but peaceful. Very spacious rooms. Staff really make this place - all so friendly and helpful

Disappointing Stay – Misleading Photos and Poor Room Conditions I stayed at Klapa Resort Bali for two nights, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the pictures shown online. The room looked nothing like what was advertised. The sofa had visible stains and was very dirty, and the mattress was filthy and worn out. It felt unhygienic and poorly maintained. This was not the level of cleanliness or comfort you expect from a resort at this price point. As for the breakfast, it was equally disappointing. We requested omelets, and what we received was undercooked and badly prepared. The chef seemed overwhelmed, as there was only one person handling all the cooking, leading to a noticeable drop in quality and service. The only positive thing I can say is that the view was beautiful — the ocean view and the golf course surroundings were stunning. But sadly, the room condition and service quality completely overshadowed that. Overall, not worth the price. The photos are misleading, and the maintenance is unacceptable. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Klapa is far from a “5 star” resort. The moment my partner and I entered our room there was an overwhelming smell of mould & sewerage. We stayed 1 night just to see, however the smell was so disgusting and overpowering. Upon inspection, we found visible mould in the shower door frame and along the edges of the wallpaper. I raised this with the reception staff & told them this is a safety hazard. I told them it’s disgusting in general but also dangerous for people to be breathing in, especially my partner who has asthma it can be very dangerous. They seemed completely unfazed & didn’t really know how to respond, just said “sorry for the inconvenience”. I requested to see another room which i did and had the exact same smell. We decided to leave the next day because it was too disgusting & seemed like most rooms had this issue based on multiple past reviews regarding mould. The only nice part about this resort is the rooftop pool & gorgeous view of dreamland beach. Staff are nice however don’t know how to respond to customer complaints well. I would not recommend staying at Klapa Resort, only stay if your okay with mould and want a 2 star resort.
