Klapstar Boutique Hotel

No doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Singapore! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager. The room was super spacious with all the amenities. The view from the room was just amazing. The staff was extremely friendly. We had four great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

Overall hotel aesthetics are acceptable, hotel room's bed is comfy and spacious. Just that the service was not commendable because of lack of communication and basic service etiquette (I.e. greetings, door service, etc). However, the overall stay was okay because the bathtub was amazing.

Nice concept, but dated rooms! Our room was not meeting the requirements of a four star hotel. We have visited another 4 star in the same price range, even a bit cheaper and we can tell for sure that the quality of the other was by far better. Problems: Bathroom was quite old, constantly strange smells from the bathroom sinks. Everything was very much used and badly maintained. Thus it seemed to be a bit dirty too. Noisey due to a bar in the same building and parties. Positive: comfy bed, included mini bar, good location
