Klas Hotel Istanbul Old City

Met by Ozgur, Helin and Hasan, who made us feel welcome and provided useful answers to all our queries, plus they upgraded our room from the start. The hotel was clean with all the normal facilities and services, though the pool and terrace were under renovation at the time of our stay. With only 3 nights to spend in Istanbul, the location was perfect with metro and tram almost on the doorstep, so getting to the sights of the old city and beyond was really easy. Overall a great stay with friendly, helpful staff. Good job Hotel Klas - will definitely recommend you to others. Thank you!

No come back and never recommend* I want to thank the manager(I don't know his name) every morning I see him and Emre they are helpful and speak English well. Also, I want to thank Helena, she is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and need to one or two years at least to renovate everything. 3 small elevators (max 3 people) are non-working or stuck really horrible. the floor is very old and worn out although every day cleaning but need to change. Bathroom is small and very old and the water fill out and gather in the sink much time for drainage. The tools are very old like the Iron, the kettle, furniture ... Air conditioning are very old and sometimes not working or they have timers to limit working times for only (one* one hour) some lights and switches are not working. Telephone is not working. Internet connection is very bad and not working sometimes, especially rooms at the end of the corridor. The bed is small for 2persons it is only 1.20 or 1.40 and bedcovers and pillows are very old. it was really bad experience and I never go back and never recommend this hotel

A very disappointing experience — this hotel doesn’t even deserve one star. The room was uncomfortable, and the reception staff were cold and unhelpful. There is absolutely no soundproofing, and noise from nearby hotels and cafés goes on well past midnight, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The bathroom is extremely small and impractical. Cleanliness is average at best (5/10), and the price is too high considering the poor quality of services provided. I do not recommend this place at all — it does not meet the standards of a four-star hotel.
