The restaurant offers traditional local dishes, well prepared at moderate prices. If the weather is fine you can sit outside in the garden. Service was very friendly at the time I visited.

A place to chill after a long a day

To all cyclists... Cycle on and stay in Burghausen!!!! Even look at the owners reply to my review. It's like I say; they don't care and simply rude! After a long day cycle, we decided to stay here, ''4 Star Hotel'' and most expensive in the area!! That we would be at least satisfied and rested.for the next day cycle. Hotel extorts people with it's lack of competition. After paying 150 euro for a nights stay. We then had to pay 5.40 euro for a 0.75 bottle of water for the room. And after a long cycle we needed like 3 bottles. They even charge for tap water... Even for guests... Not to mention a wider lists of issues. Dreadful internet... Rooms are on minimum WiFi, Terrace is a dead zone. I ordered a small portion of my meal as most things are just too heavy and too much. I got it, but still paid the full price of 16 euro for a small salad. Had to change room in the night. Rooms have no ventilation. So in the heat wave, the window needed to be open. However there was a wedding party directly under our window, loud chatting while smoking etc. With the echo in the building design, the people might have well been sitting on the bed. Needs some sort of ventilation! Explained my issues the next day, answer from the staff was, nothing we can do about it... To me they didn't care or want to listen. And I am native English speaker that also speaks perfect German, my partner Austrian. So they was no confusion with our stay or communication with staff !! This place is at best a 2 star hotel and not 4. Was the biggest regret of my cycle tour staying here.
