Knockaloe Beg Farm

I had a wonderful stay at Knockaloe Beg Farm. I chose it because it was a convenient walk to the Knockaloe Prison Museum where I had a legacy interview about my grandfather. Katherine was so helpful making all the arrangements and changes leading up to my visit. Jen went out of her way to accommodate my meal and other needs. She was wonderful and a great cook, with her red curry. Caleb was very attentive & helpful during mealtime too. The farmhouse is charming and comfortable and I enjoyed the community breakfasts where I met lovely people. I was grateful they had clotheslines as I needed to hand wash my clothes for the rest of my journey. The gardens are vistas are beautiful, and everything is green organically and used in our meals. There are plenty of farm animals to enjoy as well—pigs, sheep, chickens, donkey, even a Manx cat or two. Lovely experience and I recommend it.

We went to celebrate our 10yr anniversary and it was PERFECT for what we wanted. The location and setting was exactly what we wanted for a decent break away as a couple. The wigwam we stayed in was spot on and had everything we needed. We slept like babies so 👍🏻 to the bed. The hot tub was the icing on the cake once I mastered the log burner. There was plenty of wood for the log burner and the wigwam was clean, tidy and very cosy. We had a great time 🤙🏻

A most delightful stay. Beautiful location well placed for west access to Peel and the coastal path. The ethos of the others is to use locally and or ethically sourced products and to promote environment friendly initiatives where possible. The farmhouse for the B&B is clean and comfortable and made to feel like a home for guests, with full use of living rooms, drinks and homemade flapjacks, and use of various equipment like wellies, flasks and umbrellas. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable and the bedding was nice goose down. Each is equipped with a range of nice teas and coffees as well as sherry and port! Another example of the small but appreciated touches throughout is the emergency toiletries case in the bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and served by super friendly and helpful Jen, but best of all was sharing the breakfast table with the other guests and the enjoyable conversation. I would have Knockaloe Beg top of my list for any future visit.
