Knossos Beach Bungalows Suites Resort & Spa

We had the most wonderful stay at Knossos Beach Bungalows and can’t recommend it highly enough. The location is perfect- just a short drive from the airport, but it still feels like you’ve stepped into a quiet, authentic corner of Crete. The architecture has that classic Greek island charm with whitewashed curved buildings, winding paths, and beautifully kept gardens that make every walk feel like a postcard. We opted for the all-inclusive package and were absolutely blown away. The food is a real highlight: five-star quality, but rooted in local tradition. Every meal featured fresh, simple, flavourful recipes - so much variety, and clearly prepared with care. It never felt generic or mass-produced, which is rare in an all-inclusive. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Every single person we met was genuinely warm, welcoming, and kind. They create such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere - it really felt like being hosted by friends. Our room was lovely - spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with touches that made it feel both elegant and relaxed. Watching the sunset from the beach each evening was the perfect end to every day. If you’re looking for something beautiful but unpretentious, with real heart and soul, Knossos Beach is a gem.

This hotel exceeded my expectations because some reviews complained about the lack of quality for a 5 star hotel, but if you remember that you are in Greece, this hotel offers you all the comforts. The hotel has a beautiful beach with plenty of sunbeds and a sense of privacy. The beach is sandy and gently sloping into the sea. The hotel looks like a small Greek village and you feel very welcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and full of imagination. Even though our room did not have a view directly onto the beach, it did not matter at all because we spent all our time by the sea anyway.

A Wonderful Stay in Crete – Highly Recommended! We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Crete! The rooms were beautiful, modern, and very comfortable – just what we needed for a relaxing vacation. The staff were absolutely outstanding: friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was another highlight – everything was fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed every meal, from breakfast to dinner. Overall, it was a perfect holiday experience and we would gladly return. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the beach – it could be cleaner and perhaps the sand could be raked more often to enhance the comfort and appearance. Despite that small detail, everything else was exceptional. A solid 10/10 from us!
