Kohlerhof 4 Star Wellness & Active Hotel

We spent two nights at the hotel and were absolutely delighted. Right from the start, the hotel staff kindly helped us resolve a mix-up with our reservation—one that was entirely our fault—and we even ended up with an upgraded room. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and found our room to be beautiful, with comfortable beds, soft pillows, and stunning mountain views. We immediately headed to the spa, which is spacious, wonderful, and open until 11 PM, something we really appreciated. The heated outdoor pool with jets next to the sauna area (where swimwear is optional) was fantastic, as was the large warm indoor pool with a jacuzzi, suitable also for children. Both dinners and breakfasts were exceptionally abundant and delicious. Another great touch was the afternoon snack included with half-board, served right in front of the hotel, which allowed us to quickly refuel after skiing. The cable car is conveniently located directly in front of the hotel. We also liked that breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, letting us hit freshly groomed slopes early, but sleepyheads can enjoy breakfast until 11:00 AM. Perhaps the only thing we'd prefer would be buffet dinners instead of served ones, as this would shorten dining time and help us control the amount of food—something we sometimes struggled to finish. However, salads and appetizers were already served buffet-style, and their variety alone would have been almost sufficient as dinner. Overall, a fantastic hotel—we will definitely return!

Everything was good: the location of the hotel, the room with everything you need, the view from it, the cleanliness, the food, the service, the organization, the spa center, the indoor swimming pool, etc. Most of all, the staff - very friendly.

This year was my 3rd time spending (a week) my skiing holiday with Hotel Kohlerhof. For me, the hotel is part of the skiing experience. Having a half-board plus arrangement (breakfast & dinner included) with a very nice room is really providing a holiday experience. Furthermore, the sauna facilities are good. After a day of skiing (and I am not a very good skier), relaxing in the sauna is good for the abused muscles :). The hotel staff (yes everyone) always make you feel at home, are helpful and just plain friendly. They will definitively see me again! Is their nothing to "complain" about? Well, if you want to know: I like to open a window at night to slightly reduce the room temperature and get fresh air, the noise from the main street (mainly bars and noisy people) is noticeable. But that is more a personal thing, not everyone is bothered by it. I actually used earplugs that also helped against the snoring of my skiing partner. And next time I'll ask for a thinner duvet.
