Kokopelli Kottage

I needed a place to stay with my 7 year old before meeting up with friends on the river and didn't want to spend a lot on lodging. This totally fit what I was looking for, basic room at a good price. We stayed two nights so that we could explore the area. It was super easy to get to Monument Valley, Gooseneck State Park and the Valley of the Gods drive. Beds were comfortable and the fridge in the room worked great. Only negative was the water had a strong sulfur smell to it. The smokehouse restaurant across the street is really good! Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a cheaper place to lay your head for the night.

I stayed 2 nights at the tail end of a backpacking trip. Both staff members I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, shower hot, well stocked with coffee etc. No complaints here. Laundromat across the street, gas station and restaurants in walking distance. Area feels very safe to me. I’ll stay again when I’m back next year.

Budget friendly room near monument valley. The staff was happy to help with anything at all.
