Kolping Family Resort

I can only recommend this hotel, which is built for families with kids. This year it’s going to be our 3rd visit, absolutely worth the price (we come here from Bratislava, there is nothing comparable in Slovakia). Amazing food, large, comfy and kids-prepared rooms, very good pools and wellness, also an adult-only wellness. And yes, in the Bobo Fun Park, both parents and kids can have fun and break a sweat.

We spent a few days here, and we definitely recommend a visit with kids. :) The staff kept the room clean, and the whole environment was beautiful. A wide variety of food options were available for breakfast and dinner, which were both more than good. I didn't like the additional charges for things like coffee from the bar or pancakes. These were very expensive. I also think the parking fee was unfair, because the hotel itself is quite expensive.

Headline: Not worth the hype or money Stayed for 3 nights with our 2year old ,300€ per night including breakfast and dinner. Seeing the pictures and the ratings we were quite excited but our expectations were slammed. After the first night we were thinking about leaving. - Very loud hotel neighbors were running and screaming around until 12 in the night...no one tried to step in. Food was still in the fridge from the previous guest. Ants on the floor. Dirty pants laying on the hotel hall way for a whole day. We had dinner included but drinks you had to pay extra...not even water was available for free. Staff did what they are supposed to but you had at no point the feeling they are happy that you are here. Activities they offer are okay but pretty standard, not deserving "Family Hotel". Bed was extra hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. City is in the middle of nowhere...nothing happening around there. ± Food was very good besides of some old fruits and cereal they reused from the day before. Reception was friendly. Summary: Not recommending it, there are better ways to spend your holiday for that price.
