Komandoo Maldives Island Resort

We had an absolutely perfect stay here. I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say. The staff are incredible, the island is beautifully maintained, the food is wonderful, our accommodation was spotless. Wonderful.

A wonderful paradise island, an ideal place fir a quiet rest with breathtaking views,excellent care from the staff, delicious food every day, cleanliness in every corner of the resort, rooms are cleaned twice a day.

I may be fashionably late with this review (October 2023 vibes), but Komandoo Island Resorts and Spa delivered one of the best vacations ever. From the moment you step off the plane (yes, that pricey 15-minute propeller ride at $200 a pop), the staff greets you with a full-blown, drum-beating song and dance—complete with a recording for posterity. The island’s intimate size encourages a carefree, shoes-off atmosphere that my wife and I fully embraced. Every meal—from breakfast to dinner—was a culinary delight, and the daily activity schedule is packed with options (so check it beforehand!). Marine enthusiasts will revel in the abundant snorkeling opportunities, though don't forget to bring your gear. Heads up: this is an adult-only haven, so it’s tailor-made for a grown-up escape. If there's one hiccup, it’s the lack of pre-arrival scheduling details, which meant missing out on a chance to swim with manta rays. Still, with top-notch service and an all-around vibrant vibe, Komandoo is a must-visit for anyone craving a truly spirited getaway.
