We stayed 6 nights and really enjoyed it. We stayed upstairs, in a room with a balcony overlooking the meadow. It was lovely! We ate our meals on the balcony and enjoyed the sunset daily. It's very quiet and peaceful here, and there's a lot of lovely greenery. There are chickens, goats, and some cute cats roaming around. Castelrotto / Kastelruth is a short 15 min drive away, where you can find groceries and anything else you need. I found this location to be excellent - near enough to everything you need, including some beautiful hiking places. We bought groceries and cooked in the apartment for most of our meals. The stove and fridge worked fine, and there's ample pots/pans and plates as needed. There's a Bialetti (Moka) coffee maker. Equipment was a bit old but in good condition and worked well. The beds were very comfortable. The host is a German speaker, so use Google Translate if you don't speak German. I communicated her mostly through Booking.com which has a translation feature. Note that there's no washing machine, though there is a laundry service for EUR10. Just ask the host about it. I preferred to handle drying the clothes myself and the host kindly accommodated me by providing a laundry drying rack. I also bought some eggs (from the chickens downstairs!) and homemade jam from her. As digital nomads, we worked from home here during the day. The wifi is unfortunately quite bad. We ended up tethering to our phones, which I had no problem with - good signal and I could do long video calls. On our last day we booked a coworking space that I found in Castelrotto, called SOSS - in case you don't want to rely on tethering to your phone.
Stayed here for 3nights. Location is really nice, close to bus stop and the view is amazing. Hosts are very kind, they even offered to buy groceries on our behalf since our check in time was late and not many restaurants are available near by. We didn't buy breakfast but bought fresh milk and eggs from the farm.
Very nice location, the host is very nice as well, it was a very cozy stay.
