5 star service for 3 star prices. Every room is different and all of them are lovely. Breakfast is OK but the egg cooker is a bit confusing. This hotel belongs to the Grand Hotel Bad Ragaz so you get their amenities. The biggest reason to stay here however is the restaurant. Great food with absolutely breath taking views. You will like it unless you're afraid of heights.
Sadly this hotel does not live up to expectations. Monday and Tuesday the restaurant is closed. This is understandable in the quiet fall. But at 5:00pm everything is locked down and guests only have access to their individual rooms. One cannot use the lounge, billiard room or grounds. The front door is locked and one must use their key to access the hotel. Shuttle service is local bus, with hourly service only. Lighting in the room was very poor. Bathroom small and dark. TV channels poor. Double room with balcony had poor view. Large room, sadly decorated. Bed comfortable and clean. Total self serve breakfast was fine. Able to handle gluten intolerance.
Saw their tiktok account commenting on a post that read along the lines of "Why are women playing football in men's clothes?" followed by AI generated pictures of women in supershort croptops and shorts. Frankly, that's disgusting.
