Kona Hotel Verona

Really horrific place. We were set in the old part of the hotel. We were on the 4th floor in a loft. The room was really untidy and ugly. We had a gallery in our room, the stairs weren’t stable and secure. There are no windows at that part of the room except a roof window that couldn’t open. Bathroom is extremely dirty and horrible. There is no handle in the shower. It wasn’t really clean when we came. Plugs are really old and I would say unsafe. There was dust on the floor. We had a TV but it was pretty small. There is only one window and you can’t open it all the way, but the view is pretty. The staff is ok. Food is questionable. All in all wouldn’t recommend for more than a night. :)

Worst hotel I've ever been. I'm glad they are demolishing it in the near future! It's extremely unsanitary and they don't offer any service if you make a complaint. Only the next day, they sent a cleaning crew. Idk how you can clean a hotel like this!? Broken showers (literally!) where you can cut yourself really badly. Disgusting bedding and black mold! Stay away!

Avoid this hotel at all costs. We booked expecting a 4-star experience, but were met with rooms filled with mold, stained sheets, broken air conditioning, and insects. The breakfast buffet is extremely poor—limited options and very low quality. To make matters worse, a personal item mysteriously disappeared from my room during my stay. Despite repeatedly contacting the hotel about this, no one has responded. We want our money back!
