Konak Hotel Taksim

Location - perfect. In the centre of the old town. Obviously, this can have its disadvantages such as loud traffic and trams in the early hours but we didn’t mind this. Everthing is in walking distance. Rooms - we loved our room. We had a double bed and a beautiful view from the window of the city. Lighting could have been brighter but it was fine overall. Our only small downside was we thought Breakfast could be better. Staff - the best ❤️. Thank you to the kind lady who welcomed us on the first day, we think she is the sister of the man who owns this hotel. The owner himself was so kind and friendly, helping us ring a taxi on our last day. Thank you for being so generous. I would appreciate if anyone from the hotel can pass this message onto the cleaner also. We didn’t get her name, but she was so kind and helpful to us with something else unrelated to our stay in the hotel. Her kindness and her help is something I will never forget. I hope she recieved a message that I wrote for her and left at the reception. Thank you so much to everyone at the Konak hotel ❤️. If we ever come back to Bosnia, we will try to stay here again! Hello, this is my second night at this hotel. I recommend staying at this hotel to others. The staff are kind and responsive. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is acceptable. Access to the bus station, metro station and Taksim Square is convenient. I will choose this hotel again.

Good stay overall – great location but a few service issues We stayed for two nights and spent most of our time outside the hotel. The location is excellent – very close to Taksim Square, with easy access to taxis, and there's a small supermarket right next to the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was decent, though it could be improved with more variety and quality. There were a few downsides. The hairdryer in the room was very weak, and basic amenities like toothpaste and hair conditioner were not available, even upon request. Tea, coffee, and water were only available in the lobby for a limited time during the day. We also booked tours through the hotel, but the drivers often arrived 30–45 minutes late, and the staff didn’t take these delays seriously, simply blaming traffic. Overall, it was a good experience, but with more attention to small details, the service could be much better.
