Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa

we stayed for 5 nights in Koro Sun. We paid for a romantic package. they located us in an average room, then they upgraded to the best room available with sea access ( thanks to the upgrade option when we purchased the package), service is spot on, remember Fiji time here is a thing so don't rush, enjoy the calm and relax , there's a lot of daily activities you can join, there are free ones and also for kids. Food and drinks prices are a bit high but is a resort , there are buses that cost 2 $ if you ever want to explore around the town. we loved it! people are lovely and always go above and beyond. we would definitely come back!!

My wife and I came here with other family and thoroughly enjoyed our week there. The staff were incredibly friendly and personable, always checking on us and ensuring we were getting everything we needed. The best example of dedication from the staff that I witnessed was when one of the guests lost her iphone in the lagoon. It was night and too dark to look for it, but the very next morning the resort manager came down with diving gear and did a search for the phone, finding it covered with mud on the bottom of the lagoon. Would you believe the iphone survived the night 10ft underwater! I loved staying the floating bure, getting out of bed and going for a kayak first thing in the morning. The water was amazing, the view spectacular and the drinks were fantastic. Going to push the extended family to come over and explore!

Very disappointing for the price and expectations We are still staying at Koro Sun, as I came to celebrate my birthday, expecting a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the service so far has been truly disappointing. I placed the “Make My Room” sign and messaged at 11:06 am to request housekeeping. It is now 2:00 pm and no one has come. We asked for towels at the Activities area and were told to go to the pool; at the pool, they told us to go back to Activities. In the end, I had to ask someone to come with me to sort it out — at this price, you expect they bring them to you without issue. At breakfast, nobody explained what was included and what wasn’t. We only saw the information sheet at the end. We don’t come on vacation to read signs — it’s the staff’s job to inform guests. People are friendly and nice; however, the level of service is not what we expected, especially given the price and the reviews that described this as a paradise. We are from Mexico and travel worldwide. In other countries like the Philippines, Mexico, or India, we’ve had much better service, even at hotels that cost less. We truly expected more, especially for a special occasion.
