Koulen Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 12 days and had an amazing experience! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff goes out of their way and is extremely helpful and welcoming! The food is fantastic --breakfast has a good variety (we also enjoyed the oatmeal for breakfast to go when we started our days early). The restaurant serves a delicious variety of food (where we are many times). The hotel is within easy walking distance to other restaurants, cafes, and markets (including Made in Cambodia which is a must when looking for quality souvenirs). We highly recommend a stay here and are sad to leave!

We booked this as a base for doing a two-day guided tour of the Temples at Angkor Wat. The hotel surpassed our expectations and then some. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, in particular Sampheas in the bar/cafe was amazing. The room was huge, with great facilities. The lunch/evening food was really tasty - mostly western - but very well done…better than many pubs in London. There was an interesting and delicious selection of unique cocktails and easy drinking beers. It’s 15 minutes from the temples and 5 minutes walk from Pub Street. Perfect location, perfect service. Would definitely recommend and if we returned, we wouldn’t bother looking anything else up…we’d come straight here.

My family had a great experience at Koulen Hotel. The rooms were very spacious, and had very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious, the pool area was great to relax and had an awesome happy hour! Also a big thanks to Bo at the front desk for helping make our stay extra special. We will definitely come back!
