I really enjoyed my stay at the Kove Hotel. Thank you for the hospitality! Rooms are beautiful and clean. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast is simple but very nice. The view on the Pyramids doesn’t need any comments - it’s stunning. Speaking of some minor details - 1) it can be loud in the evenings because of the traffic and music playing on the terrace. 2) The surroundings are quite wild but safe. But it wasn’t disappointing for me. I could sleep well in the nights and enjoyed my time in Giza. Close to the hotel you can find a grocery shop and an ATM (both on the petrol station).
Stayed in the superior suite for 2 nights. It was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Super comfortable and super clean. The bathtub really stood out with a big glass window overlooking the pyramids. Breakfast could be better for the hotel standards but it was served in a small terrace, also with a great view but also a suntrap and it gets really hot. The lift was a bit scary.
We had a great stay overall. The staff was amazing super courteous and helpful throughout our visit. Special thanks to Habiba and Abdul Rehman, who went out of their way to assist us. Habiba helped us book a ride back to the airport and made sure we weren’t scammed or overcharged by the Uber drivers, which we really appreciated. There were some challenges during our stay. When we arrived, the hotel was experiencing a water and electricity outage due to load shedding. The lift didn’t work properly and we had to take the stairs all the way to the 5th floor. It was quite difficult for us initially, but to their credit, the hotel did compensate us with bottled water and even covered the cost of our airport ride, which helped a lot. The rooms were clean and the breakfast table offered a nice view of the pyramids. Breakfast was decent not fancy, but it got the job done. I do hope the hotel can resolve the electricity and water issues for a smoother experience in the future. That said, I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking for a budgeted accommodation.
