Koyao Island Resort

Wonderful Stay at Koyao Island Resort We had an amazing time at Koyao Resort. The location is stunning, right on a peaceful beach with breathtaking views. Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was fresh and delicious. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the natural beauty all around us. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for our family. We left the resort with a bag full of memories and would love to come back one day – thank you for a truly unforgettable stay!

The staff was fantastic; always keen on paying attention to detail. The landscaping and over all cleanliness of the resort was perfect. People are friendly, food was good, and prices are reasonable considering you are on a resort. If your looking for Holiday or honey moon this is your next stay!

We stayed at this property during a family trip to Thailand with two kids. While the location and layout of the villa were beautiful, our experience was mixed and, unfortunately, disappointing in several important ways. 👍 What we appreciated: The staff were polite, friendly, and genuinely tried to help. When we raised concerns, they responded kindly and even offered us a complimentary delicious dinner with wine in an effort to make things right. The natural surroundings and villa design were visually appealing, making a great first impression. 👎 What went wrong: The cleanliness of the villa was a major issue—especially in the bathrooms, where we found dirty spots that had clearly been missed. The most serious problem was the infestation of cockroaches. This was not a one-time issue. We were killing several cockroaches each night before going to bed, and even found some under a tablet on the nightstand in the morning. The staff attempted an evening cleaning, but this did not solve the problem. The restaurant was also inconvenient and didn’t meet the quality standards expected for a resort of this type. ⚠️ Important Warning: If you are uncomfortable with bugs—especially cockroaches—this may not be the right place for you. Despite the staff’s efforts, the pest issue severely impacted our comfort and sleep. ❌ Final thoughts: While the setting is undeniably beautiful and the staff was well-intentioned, the lack of cleanliness and the severe cockroach issue made it impossible for us to relax and enjoy our stay. Sadly, we cannot recommend this property, especially for families or anyone sensitive to hygiene or insects.
