We used this hotel as a place to stay during our trip to Sendai! The exterior of the hotel gave away its luxury, but when we actually went inside, we found it to be antique? Retro? The room had a bed, but there was also a sofa for one person and two tables for two people! The room had a bed, two sofas for one person, and a table, but it was not too tight and spacious! The bathroom is not separated from the toilet! I felt the shower curtain was a little short on the side! I didn't notice that the shower bed could be switched, so I used it with high water pressure😅. Maybe it was a good one, it was a bit painful lol! Overall, it seemed like it would normally cost quite a bit of money, but since we got a good price, it was very cost effective! It seems to be used as a wedding hall! The lobby was gorgeous with several chandeliers!
Excellent hotel located along a busy main street in between the bustling shopping district and Sendai Station. Very grandly decorated throughout and well-maintained. Front desk staff are great and easy to talk to. Air purifier is provided, and heating is used during the winter. Water pressure and heating are reliable, and bathroom amenities provided are excellent. Aesthetic of this clearly decades-old hotel is very much to my taste and very spacious across the board. Laundry service available asides from Sundays and holidays, with delivery at the front desk by 10am. Value for money here is superb. Will stay again when in Sendai.
This is an avant-garde hotel with unique features. It is ideal for conferences and the business crowd. The reception staff are wonderful and always ready to make your stay comfortable. Some rooms have air conditioning, while others do not. Some rooms face the street with slight noise from traffic (no problem if you’re not as sensitive to sound as I am). Naturally, room prices vary accordingly. If you are planning to leave your luggage at a hotel after checkout, choose wisely. This is the main reason I chose this hotel — they seemed reliable, and they were.
